Gros Mouton is a new Americana collective merging styles of country, cajun, bluegrass, oldtime and swing. Led by vocalist Dana Babineau Burns, whose style is reminiscent of icon Bonnie Raitt. The band is also compiled of Antoine Larocque (Le Winston Band), previous Wakefield local Ewan Macintyre (Southern Tenant Folk Union, Ewan Macintyre Band), Amanda Gibeau (Trio Gibeau) and legend percussionist Jordon Strum. Expect a fun evening of classics with an all star band and feel free to bring an axe (instrument) for a jam if you're feeling it.
